Huey Helicopter Sliding Cargo Door, Left, Camo w/ Cavalry Crossed SabresLeft-side UH-1H sliding door painted in US Army 1970s MERDC camo scheme with Cav stencil. Door does not include windows or a number of small parts. This door was recently painted during an evaluation of paints and paint schemes for a Huey undergoing restoration by us and does not date from Army service. The MERDC scheme was only used on a small number of US Army helicopters, many of which were in the 101st Airborne Division, and only for a short time, but is eye-catching. This door is being sold as a collectible “wall hanger” and would look good in a hangar or man cave. This door measures approximately 6.5’x4’ and is too large to ship by UPS or Fed Ex. It can be picked up from our hangar in New Richmond, WI or we can crate it for a nominal fee for freight shipment. Buyer must make shipping arrangements. We ship smaller items by UPS, Fed Ex or USPS at your preference. Larger or heavier items that cannot be sent by these carriers may be picked up, or freight arrangements made by the buyer. We do not have loading equipment on hand for heavy items, but can provide referral to local contractors. We will help facilitate pickup and loading to the extent that we have volunteers available to help with these tasks on a given day.
