Photo’s 1 shows the actual potentiometer with modifications, that you will receiveMounting hole body size and knob shaft are the same as original. Fits Marantz Volume potentiometer control 2216B, 2218, 2252B, 2265B, 2285B. These are NOS potentiometers from the late 90’s, Made in Japan. Dual 50K Ohm (50K Ohm BX2) as original with loudness tap. The solder terminals may be different than the original but are not a problem to install in the Marantz receiver. Note: These NOS parts originally had a 20MM shaft length, this is too short for the Marantz receiver. Therefore, I modified the shaft to 30MM to properly fit the Marantz receivers. Also: the loudness tap is located at 20K Ohm, the original pot was 15K OHM. I will install a 51K Ohm in parallel with the 20K tap, this equals 14.3K Ohms for the loudness Tap. You may remove the 51K Ohm resistors if you want more loudness boost. I have installed these Modified NOS pots into several Marantz receivers, they worked perfectly. I guarantee these to work as described or money back.
