They’re out of a mansion that started construction in the 1960s but Never finished construction. I was told by the family All of the materials and furnishings were bought but since the house was never finished, the furnishings never got put into place and everything has been in storage since. That is how these amazing vintage new old stock chandeliers made their way to me. They are practically flawless because they’ve spent their whole life wrapped in plastic in storage. The one that is not wrapped was taken out of its plastic and had a plug-in spliced on the wire to test the lights, they all work. (I will be rewrapping it to maintain its condition after listing them) The one that is still wrapped up has not been tested, but if you’d like I can test it before shipping. Someone who has another one of these chandeliers messaged me and informed me that It is 18 karat gold-plated. I cannot guarantee this. They measure roughly 34x34x30 and are in between 40 to 50 lb each I have been unable to find a Maker’s Mark on these chandeliers. The only similar chandeliers I could find was a smaller pair of eight light chandeliers with a less impressive centerpiece that have been displayed their whole life for $5,000. Considering the condition that mine are in and comparing to similar chandeliers I believe my price is 100% fair. I would really hate to split this pair up but I would consider selling them separately at a higher cost each.
